Hello, I am Izzy.
I make raunchy avante garde video art. I use erotic elements in my videos, often juxtaposed with rudimentary footage from my day to day life. I am often my main subject.
I make video art to extract the visions I have in my head. Anything I imagine can be recreated on film.
I began making films to explore fun perversions while I was writing my postgrad dissertation in Edinburgh. My art has since developed to become a more intentional medium that helps me find answers to my infinite self-observations.
Indeed, I inspire myself.
The more I observe myself, the more I question myself.
My video art attempts to serve as a vessel – a medium – for my drawn out visual conclusions about my challenging observations.
Why raunchy?
The hallways of my perverted mind hold the root solutions for many of my personal self & inner conflicts. Creating daring visuals that may come off as taboo encourages me to challenge my own perspectives.
I hope audiences feel somewhat uncomfortable, somewhat inspired. Audiences are encouraged to challenge their own perspectives, ask why they react the way they do to my films.
